George Takei describes the moment when he and his family were sent to an internment camp.

"Another scene I remember now as an adult is every morning at school we started the day with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag…there was the American flag flying over the camp but I could also see the barbed wire fence and the sentry towers pointing at us from my schoolhouse window as I recited the words ‘With liberty and justice for all’." - George Takei, The Daily Show (July 24, 2014).

It’s so fucking weird how girls can just tell when our periods start. Like the exact fucking moment. You’re just sitting in bed or standing in line for groceries and your face does that thing kind of like in That’s so Raven when Raven gets a vision

Anonymous asked: why hockey?

Because after all the

and tears

after all the

and losses

hockey gives you something to

cheer for

for every goal

and every celly

for every fight

and every hit

for every win

and every save

we cheer.

Hockey Warms Your Heart

it makes you feel like you are part of the team

it makes you laugh

and it makes you smile

Hockey is

and friends

It’s hats

and jerseys

and teammates

but most of all

it’s the cup
